It is essential that puppies are introduced to grooming as soon as possible. Some breeds do not require grooming but it is always recommended to familiarize them with the environment of a groomer so that they’ll feel more comfortable if ever they need to be bathed or have services as simple as nail clipping done. Puppies that are up to date on vaccinations and at least 12 weeks of age are welcome at our salon and it is recommended to book their first grooming appointment between 12 and 16 weeks of age (3 to 4 months). The grooming process can be a little bit overwhelming for a puppy but at this age they tend to be more accepting of new activities and adapt much faster.
